A man faces charges after a tent was put up in a London, Ont., park where police had dismantled tents set up by the Occupy movement.

Police say that around 6 p.m. Wednesday, a man set up a tent in Victoria Park and refused to take it down.

The man was eventually removed from the tent and charged with trespassing and resisting arrest.

Shortly after 10 p.m., another person was charged with trespassing in the park.

A city bylaw which prevents anyone from being in public parks between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Police moved in early Wednesday to take down tents put up by Occupy protesters who had been in the park for about two and a-half weeks.
