Woman killed in ultralight plane crash in Nova Scotia

RCMP say a woman is dead after the ultralight plane she was piloting crashed in Nova Scotia's Hants County.

Police say officers were called to the crash site around 1 p.m. Sunday near the Stanley Airport, about 25 kilometres northeast of Windsor, N.S.

They say the pilot and only occupant of the plane was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Mounties say they're investigating what led to the crash.
