The Canadian Tourism Commission's website had a front page Monday featuring four rotating photos. Three are touristy images and one is Maxime Bernier on a horse.

Mr. Bernier, now Minister of State for Small Business and Tourism, is wearing a blue blazer and beige pants. Beside him is another dude, also on a horse, wearing a faux cowboy costume including red bandanna. Yeehaw!

The commission, funded with $95-million a year in federal money, is an arms-length body with a board of directors and a mandate to promote Canadian tourism. Their mandate does not specifically include promotion of the minister.
