Snowfall amounts were expected to be closer to 25 centimetres for the Ottawa and Cornwall regions.

Dozens of flights out of airports in Toronto and Ottawa have been cancelled, and several school boards have cancelled bus service for the day.

The storm has largely shifted into southern Quebec, though London and the Huron-Perth area still remain under snow squall warnings.
