A third person is facing charges in the ongoing investigation into thefts from the Salvation Army in Toronto.

Police say Xiao Wang, 43, of Toronto, is charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, and possession of the proceeds of crime.

Police allege she received money intended for another person and is scheduled to appear in court on May 20.

Last November, former Salvation Army warehouse executive director David Rennie was charged with more than 30 offences including possession of property obtained by crime, theft over $5,000 and criminal breach of trust.

And Umaish Ramrattan, 61, of Ajax, Ont., was charged with 40 counts, including several counts of theft and possession of stolen property.

They were charged in the theft of thousands of dollars worth of donated toys and other items – which were later recovered and returned to the Salvation Army.
