The National Rifle Association held a news conference Friday responding to the Newtown mass school shooting.

The NRA called for armed police or security guards in every American school. But the powerful organization did not address any measures relating to gun control.

"The only thing that stops a bad gun with a gun is a good guy with a gun," said CEO Wayne LaPierre.

Two protesters disrupted the news conference, holding up banners linking the NRA with the mass killing.
