Home sales in Toronto, Canada's largest city, rose 7.7 per cent in October from a year earlier, the city's real estate agent association said.
The number of homes sold last month rose to 8,552 from 7,941 in October 2013, the Toronto Real Estate Board said in a statement. The average sales price rose 8.9 per cent to C$587,505.
