Chrysler Canada president gains added role as head of Ram truck

Reid Bigland, president of Chrysler Canada Inc. has been appointed president and chief executive officer of the Ram truck brand of Chrysler Group LLC.

The position as head of Ram came open last week when Fred Diaz said he is leaving Chrysler to join Nissan Motor Co. Ltd.

Mr. Bigland continues as head of U.S. sales for Chrysler and president of Chrysler Canada, but will be replaced as president and CEO of the auto maker's Dodge brand.

Timothy Kuniskis, who had been head of the Fiat brand for North America, will replace Mr. Bigland in the top spot in the Dodge organization.
