Toronto Argonauts cornerback Byron Parker returned his ninth interception for a touchdown Friday, setting a new CFL career record.

Parker's record-breaking interception came in the second quarter of Toronto's game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Winnipeg quarterback Buck Pierce threw an ugly pass while under pressure from Toronto's Lin-J Shell, and Parker stepped in front of Bombers receiver Aaron Hargreaves and took the ball 48 yards for the touchdown.

Former Argonauts great Dick Thornton, former Edmonton Eskimo and Saskatchewan Roughrider Malcolm Frank and former Eskimo and Hamilton Tiger-Cat Jason Goss are tied for second with eight touchdowns off interceptions.
