It was an unceremonious return to Monday Night Football for Joe Kapp.

Video of the former B.C. Lions quarterback brawling with Angelo Mosca at the CFL alumni luncheon was highlighted during the NFL's pre-game show.

Kapp is known in the United States as the quarterback who led the Minnesota Vikings in a loss against Kansas City in Super Bowl IV.

The footage elicited laughter from the pre-game panel, with host Chris Berman repeatedly saying, "Come on, eh!"

The video, which went viral on YouTube, shows Kapp and the former Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive lineman on stage Friday when Kapp attempted to give Mosca flowers in an apparent peace offering, which Mosca rejected.

Kapp, 73, then shoved the flowers in the 74-year-old Mosca's face as the two men began to fight.

Kapp and Mosca's bad blood goes back 48 years to the 1963 Grey Cup when Mosca delivered a controversial hit on Lions running back Willie Fleming that knocked him out of the game.
