The Club at Irish Creek - Kannapolis, NC (top 22 qualify for next stage)

Cam Burke and Derek Gillespie continued their strong play, carding rounds of 67 and 69 respectively. Burke, the two-time Canadian amateur champion from New Hamburg, Ont., sits tied for fourth at 7-under par while Gillespie, from Oshawa, Ont., is tied for seventh at 5-under.

Riley Wheeldon of Comox, B.C., is tied for 41st after a round of 74 which leaves him just two shots off the cut line.

Michael Gligic (72) of Burlington, Ont., Brad Revell (73) of Kingston, Ont, and Danny Sahl (73) of Sherwood Park, Alta., are tied for 48th, four shots off the cut line.

Greg McAuley (72) of Cloverdale, B.C. is tied for 54th, five off the cut line.

Christopher Ross (75) of Dundas, Ont., is seven shots off the cut line in a tie for 62nd while Ryan Kings of Kitchener, Ont. struggled with four double bogeys in a round of 77 to leave him tied for 65th, eight back of the qualification number

Dayton Valley Golf Club - Dayton, NV (top 22 qualify for next stage)

Calgary's Ryan Yip had eight birdies in a round of 69 which leaves him tied for third along with Richard T. Lee of Vancouver, who carded a round of 70 on Wednesday.

Stonebridge Ranch Country Club - McKinney, TX (top 18 qualify for next stage)

Ted Brown of Peterborough, Ont., posted a bogey-free round of 66 to move into a tie for fourth at 3-under par.

Deerwood Golf Club - Kingwood, TX (top 22 qualify for next stage)

Mike Mezei of Lethbridge, Alta. is tied for seventh after a round of 73. For the second straight day he eagled the par-5 seventh but had two bogeys and a double bogey in his round.

Andrew Parr of London, Ont., is tied for 10th after carding a 72.

David Morland IV of Aurora, Ont., is tied for 27th after a round of 72 which leaves him just one stroke outside the cut line.

Billy Walsh of Concord, Ont., had eight bogeys, a triple bogey and a lone birdie in a round of 82 that leaves him tied for 61st, nine strokes off the cut line.

Grasslands Golf & Country Club - Lakeland, FL (top 22 qualify for next stage)

Marc Bussieres of Gatineau, Que is tied for 41st after a round of 70 on Wednesday, five strokes outside of the cut line.

The Auburn University Club - Auburn, AL (top 19 qualify for next stage)

Stuart Anderson of Sooke, B.C., had an eagle, two bgoeys and a double bogey for an opening round 2-over 74 to leave him tied for 35th. That leaves him just two shots back of the cut line.
