The Barrie Colts are back atop the Ontario Hockey League after a back-and-forth battle with the Sarnia Sting.

Anthony Camara broke a 3-3 tie in the third period and the Colts went on to defeat the Sting 5-3 on Thursday.

Andreas Athanasiou scored twice for Barrie (15-5-1), which has won four of its last five games and is tied with the Owen Sound Attack for the league lead.

Ryan O'Connor and Brendan Bell also scored for the Colts. Bell's goal was into an empty net.

Reid Boucher scored twice for Sarnia (12-8-1), which lost for only the second time in the past nine games. Connor Murphy added a goal and an assist, while Alex Galchenyuk had a pair of assists.

Elsewhere in the OHL it was: Peterborough 5, Ottawa 2; Windsor 6, Saginaw 1; and London 4, Oshawa 3 (OT).

At Barrie, Ont., both teams struck on the man advantage. Barrie finished 1 for 3 while Sarnia went 1 for 4 on the power play.

O'Connor and Athanasiou gave Barrie a 2-0 lead in the first before Murphy and Boucher pulled Sarnia back in the second.

Athanasiou once again gave the Colts a lead late in the second, only to see Boucher tie the game 3-3, four minutes into the third period.

But Camara scored at 14:43, and Bell's goal in the final minute finished off the scoring.

Petes 5, 67's 2

At Peterborough, Ont., Nick Ritchie had a hat trick to help the Petes (5-14-3) beat Ottawa (6-13-2).

Spitfires 6, Spirit 1

At Windsor, Ont., Kerby Rychel scored twice and added three assists for the Spitfires (9-8-4), who shot down Saginaw (9-11-2).

Knights 4, Generals 3 (OT)

At London, Ont., Seth Griffith scored in overtime as the Knights (14-5-2) beat Oshawa (11-9-3) for their sixth straight win.
