Two late goals by the Marlies weren't enough as Toronto lost to the Hershey Bears 4-2 on Sunday in American Hockey League play.

Matt Frattin scored midway through the second period and Mark Fraser had a goal in the third for the Marlies (9-8-1). Mark Owuya made 15 saves for Toronto.

Cameron Schilling's goal in the second period stood as the winner for Hershey (7-10-1), while Jon DiSalvatore, Zach Hamill and Alex Berry rounded out the offence.

Braden Holtby stopped 40 shots to earn the win for the Bears.

The Marlies went 0 for 4 on the power play, while Hershey was 1 for 4 with the man advantage.

The Bears' victory ended a three-game skid. Toronto has now lost three in a row.
