Nobody did it better this season than Evgeni Malkin.

At least that's what NHL players thought in votin g the Pittsburgh Penguins star the winner of the Ted Lindsay Award.

He beat out Tampa Bay Lightning sniper Steven Stamkos and New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist for MVP as voted by his peers.

Malkin led the league in scoring with 109 points — 12 better than Stamkos — to capture the Art Ross Trophy.

It was his first time winning the Ted Lindsay Award in his third nomination.
