Goaltenders Ryan Miller of the Buffalo Sabres and Ray Emery of the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings defenceman Niklas Kronwall were named the NHL's three stars of the week Monday.

Miller earned the first star after winning all three of his starts. Miller posted a 1.00 goals-against average, .974 save percentage and two shutouts. The 2009-'10 Vezina Trophy winner is 6-0-2 in his past eight starts.

Kronwall is the second star after leading all NHL defenceman with seven points (two goals, five assists) as Detroit won two of its three games. The 31-year-old Stockholm, Sweden native has 31 points, including a career-high 14 goals, in 66 games.

Emery claimed the third star after winning all three of hit starts. Emery posted a 1.13 GAA and .959 save percentage and this season has a 14-8-2 record with a 2.58 GAA and .909 save percentage in 28 appearances.
