Skips Kevin Martin and Jeff Stoughton added to their leads in the men's standings of the Canada Cup of Curling on Thursday with decisive victories in the tournament's fourth draw.

Team Martin (3-0) easily dispatched Brad Jacobs' rink (0-3) 8-4 in nine ends, scoring two points with the final rock.

Team Stoughton (3-0) took care of Steve Laycock's rink (1-2) 9-6, also in nine ends.

In Draw 5, Glenn Howard and Kevin Koe pulled into a second-place tie with 2-1 records after victories in the afternoon session.

Team Howard doubled Mike McEwen's rink 8-4 while Koe won 9-6 over Brad Jacobs's team (0-4).

McEwen remains winless with an 0-3 record.

In women's play, skip Chelsea Carey led her rink to a 9-3 victory over Amber Holland's club to improve to 3-0 and remain in first place in the standings.

Team Holland fell to 1-2 with the loss.

Shannon Kleibrink and her team (2-1) needed 11 ends to beat Heather Nedohin (1-2) in a close 9-8 pairing.

Stefanie Lawton's team (1-2) downed Jennifer Jones' rink (1-2) 7-6.

Draws 5 and 6 were scheduled for later Thursday.
