Fairstone Financial Inc. (“Fairstone”), a privately-held consumer financing company, announced today the appointment of Ms. Patricia Curadeau-Grou as Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
Ms. Curadeau-Grou brings over 25 years of extensive banking knowledge, specifically in the areas of business development, corporate planning and credit and risk management to the Board. Over the course of her career, she has held a number of senior positions at National Bank of Canada including: Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Finance, Risk and Treasury; and Strategic Advisor to the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Currently, Ms. Curadeau-Grou serves as a Director for Cogeco Communications, Pomerleau, and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec as well as a number of non-profit corporations. In 2007, she became a member of the Women’s Executive Network Hall of Fame for Canada’s most powerful women.
Ms. Curadeau-Grou has served as an independent member of Fairstone’s Board of Directors since 2017.
