Stephen McLennan, Senior Managing Director of Total Fund Management, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan

Ron Mock, President and CEO, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (Ontario Teachers’), is pleased to announce the promotion of Stephen McLennan to Senior Managing Director of the Plan’s newly created Total Fund Management department. The department will form the nucleus of the Chief Investment Officer’s office as it integrates our portfolio construction approach with treasury and funding capabilities.

Mr. McLennan was most recently head of Natural Resources, and during his long tenure at Ontario Teachers’ he has held positions of increasing responsibility in both capital market and private asset related groups. He holds a Master of Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. He is also a CFA charterholder and has an ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Mr. McLennan reports to Ziad Hindo, Chief Investment Officer.
