Buick takes the wraps off a V-6, 3.0-litre 400-horsepower, twin turbo, rear-wheel-drive two-door sports car the night before the Detroit auto show begins. Built on the same platform of the Chevrolet Camaro, the Avista is a strategic model for Buick, which has battled to overcome its longstanding reputation as a car maker for senior citizens.
