A look at Canadian issues moving on early news

EnerCare Inc. (ECI-T), which added 2 cents to its value in moving closer to year highs, announced today a cash dividend of $0.056 per common share for the month of June 2012. The dividend will be payable July 31, 2012 to shareholders on record at the close of business on June 29, 2012.

BioSyent Inc. (RX-X) announced late Tuesday that its subsidiary BioSyent Pharma Inc. has secured two long-term hospital supply contracts for its recently launched Cathejell Jelly 2 per cent.

Amarillo Gold Corp. (AGC-X) announced today drill results from the Butia prospect, which is part of the Lavras do Sul project. Drilling in the higher-grade gold zone of the Butia prospect included drill holes LDH-209, which intercepted 133 metres at 2.65 g/t Au and LDH-212, which intercepted 123 metres at 1.49 g/t Au.

Labrador Iron Mines Holdings Limited (LIM-T), which rose about 6 per cent yesterday, announced today a loss of $14.7-million, or $0.27 per share, for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012. This compares to a loss of $4-million, or $0.09 per share, during the prior fiscal year.

Redstar Gold Corp. (RGC-X), which dropped 23 per cent yesterday announced the commencement of drilling at its Root Spring Project in west-central Nevada.

PetroFrontier Corp. (PFC-X), which fell 5.5 per cent yesterday, announced today that it has entered into a binding farm-in agreement with Statoil Australia Oil and Gas AS.

Longview Oil Corp (LNV-T), which fell 3 per cent on Tuesday, approved a $27-million reduction in its 2012 capital expenditure program to $46-million and revised operational guidance for the year ending December 31, 2012. The current monthly dividend of $0.05 per share will remain unchanged subject to review and approval by the board each month.

Chorus Aviation Inc. (CHR.B-T, CHR.A-T) announced a quarterly dividend of $0.15 per Class A and Class B share payable on or after July 18, 2012 to shareholders on record at the close of business on June 29, 2012.

Discovery Air Inc. (DA.A-T) announced that David Jennings stepped down and Brian Semkowski was appointed interim president and chief executive officer . Mr. Semkowski resigned from his post as a director, and Mr. Jennings joined the board.

Nighthawk Gold Corp. (NHK-X) reported broad mineralized envelopes at its Colomac Gold Project with internal higher grade shoots including 128 metres of 1.36 g/t Au, containing 71.85 metres of 2.04 g/t Au and 8.65 metres of 6.83 g/t Au.
