Matthews Elects Alvaro Garcia-Tunon New Chairman of the Board

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 24, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Matthews International Corporation (NASDAQ GSM: MATW) today announced that, following the Company’s Annual Shareholders Meeting last week, its Board of Directors elected Alvaro Garcia-Tunon as the Company’s Chairman of the Board. Mr. Garcia-Tunon succeeds John D. Turner, a member of the Board since 1999 and Chairman of the Board since 2010. Mr. Turner retired from the Board upon the completion of his term.
