The promise

Thanks to a unique combination of powerful ingredients, Phyto-Svelt Global works to combat cellulite on all fronts, leaving legs feeling thinner and firmer and their overall silhouette slimmer.

How it works

Two active firming ingredients smooth and tone the skin: extract of alkekengi calyx, an antioxidant that stimulates collagen synthesis and combats skin slackening, and soya extract, which improves elasticity. Shea butter, rapeseed oil and tocopherols soften and boost suppleness, while essential oils strengthen the active ingredients.

How to use it

Apply to thighs and arms using light upward strokes followed by deep smoothing strokes to improve circulation. On the stomach and buttocks, massage product into skin with circular strokes using the palm of your hand moving outward from the middle.

The bottom line

To quote Brittany Murphy's lovably ditzy character Tai in Clueless: "My buns, they don't feel nuthin' like steel." While she was taking issue with Tamilee Webb's famous Buns of Steel video, I feel this statement can easily extend to cellulite cream. I admit that upon first applying the product, my thighs and, yes, my buns, looked smoother and felt tighter. But like sweet chocolate coating on a bitter orange peel, the feeling didn't last. (To be clear, the chocolate coating represents the cream and the orange peel stands for, well, my orange peel.) I think I'll reserve the cream for pre-poolside application and try kickin' it old-school with Tamilee for more long-term effects.
