Party photos of the week: Suzanne Rogers Presents Marchesa
Nothing puts the V in VIP more than having one of the royals show up at your party. That's right, Sarah, Duchess of York, was in Toronto on Tuesday night for what could arguably be the most exclusive event of the year: Suzanne Rogers Presents Marchesa. The elegant eveningwear label, known for being a favourite among starlets on the red carpet, was represented by both co-founders Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman, who had her Hollywood hotshot husband Harvey Weinstein in tow. The dresses were displayed on mannequins throughout the Carlu - the most popular to gaze upon being the gold, glittery ballgown Olivia Wilde wore to the Golden Globes - but were also presented in a rare runway show that had the real fashion-lovers gasping in awe at their over-the-top beauty. Singer Keshia Chante performed - wearing Marchesa, of course - as was hostess and lady-in-white, Suzanne Rogers. The gala raised $925,000 for children's charities including the Herbie Fund, the Children's Aid Foundation, the Rose Home for Children in New Delhi and the Sarah Ferguson Foundation.
