LISTING AGENT Ira Jelinek, Harvey Kalles Real Estate Ltd.

The Action: Across from Eglinton station on Yonge Street is a relatively new high-rise complex home to a few retail outposts, including the Keg restaurant, and hundreds of luxury residences. Shoppers had their choice of suites mid-October, so this two-bedroom-plus-den corner model was staged and priced in the mid-$600,000s, which shortened the time it took for an offer to be registered.

What They Got: In the south tower of Minto's Quantum community, this 1,200-square-foot suite on the 25th floor was dressed with hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, balconies off the living and dining area and a galley kitchen with granite counters and ceramic backsplashes.

For quiet retreat, there is a den and two bedrooms, including a walk-in closet and one of two bathrooms.

Ensuite laundry facilities, a locker and parking are part of the package, along with monthly fees of $744 for heating, concierge, car wash, business centre, gym and indoor pool.

The Agent's Take: "This is right at the corner of Yonge and Eglinton and across the road is the subway," says agent Ira Jelinek. "For both buildings, this is the largest cookie-cutter unit and by far the nicest layout, so it's the crème de la crème of two-bedroom units for the Minto Quantum complex."

Buyers could also feel in touch with nature even with its urban locale. "It's on a high floor and a southwest corner unit with a ton of windows and natural light," Mr. Jelinek adds.

"[Plus] it has two balconies: one facing directly south with an expansive view of downtown and the lake, which was amazing, and then you had a west-facing balcony right off the galley kitchen, which was great, too."
