Oh my goodness! Vancouver's Lions Gate Bridge collapses in Final Destination 5.DOANE GREGORY
This trailer for Final Destination 5 may be somewhat disconcerting to Vancouver area residents (and visitors too). The trailer, released this week, features the collapse of the Lions Gate Bridge, which connects Vancouver to North and West Vancouver. In the 3-D film, shot in Vancouver last year, the survivors of the suspension bridge disaster learn that they may not have cheated death, after all.
The latest film in the popular franchise is directed by Steven Quale (who worked on Avatar as visual effects supervisor and second unit director) and stars Nicholas D'Agosto (Fired Up!) as the guy with the premonition of the bridge collapse, Emma Bell (The Walking Dead) and Windsor, ON native Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (The Bold and the Beautiful).
It's released in theatres on August 12.
