A former Boy Scout leader is facing sex-related charges involving two boys in the 1980s in Nova Scotia.
Donald George Schweyer, 57, of Halifax is charged with sexual assault and indecent assault. He was a Scout leader for the Mill Cove area and the offences are alleged to have occurred at Canadian Forces Station Mill Cove.
Mr. Schweyer was a member of the Canadian Forces from 1970 to 2005. The charges result from a joint probe by the RCMP and the military.
