A Quebec priest has been detained on suspicion of possession of child pornography.
Father Daniel Moreau was arraigned Thursday after being arrested in a church in Sorel-Tracy, northeast of Montreal.
He is due to return to court later today.
Quebec provincial police raided Moreau's living quarters after a request from another police force in Canada.
Police allege they found child-pornography material on a computer.
