- On June 15, 2011, Senator Wallin travelled from Ottawa to Toronto to attend a convocation at Guelph University, which she expensed for $2,214. She filed expenses for a convocation ceremony once before — on June 8, 2009 — as part of a four-day trip around the province.
- Senator Wallin filed travel expenses for travel related to Conservative Party events at least five times in total, according to Deloitte's analysis. Senator Wallin was ordered to pay back $4,270 in expenses for these trips.
- Several records proved inaccurate after Deloitte's investigation, such as a return trip from Toronto to Ottawa in 2009 to speak at the Annual Institute of Corporate Directors Fellowship Awards Dinner. However, the Senator had actually given the speech one year prior.
- Deloitte collected several calendars including handwritten versions, digital copies and backups. The report noted several inconsistencies, including an event expensed in 2009 that was scratched off the handwritten calendar but was added to the digital version this year.
