When one thinks of Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty, some images come to mind. For Jim Coyle, it's a tall glass of warm milk; bland and sleep-inducing.  For the Canadian Federation of Students, he is one of those pickpocketing bankers from the Capitol One ads. To the Young PCs, the Premier is a Rick Ross-esque hustler. (I don't get it either.) But no one thinks of Dalton McGuinty as a pit bull. And yet, the Premier is toughening up his campaign for fairness for Ontario. Today, he has written the party leaders and all Ontario candidates to pin them down on specific issues like EI fairness and regional economic development. There is also an on-line petition people can sign. It will be interesting to see the party leaders bid each other up over the next two weeks.
