The votes are in and five of the top 10 worst roads in Ontario picked in a CAA survey are in Toronto.

Dufferin Street in Toronto topped the list — the sixth time it has made the list but the first time at the top.

Eighty per cent of those who voted for Dufferin Street complained about potholes and crumbling pavement.

CAA says the vote was quite close, with Bunting Road in St. Catharines ranking second and Burlington Street East in Hamilton a close third.

Stanley Avenue in Niagara Falls and Kraft Creek Road in Timmins rounded out the top five.

CAA says nearly 10,000 people voted during a four-week online survey.
