A woman who died after falling about 18 metres at the Kelso Conservation Area in Milton, Ont., has been identified as a 35-year-old Toronto firefighter.

Sara Rosen was cycling with a friend when she fell off her bike and fell down an escarpment on Thursday morning.

Rosen was pronounced dead at the scene.

A news release issued by the Toronto Professional Firefighters' Association said Rosen had 15 years of service with Toronto Fire.

Rosen — who donated a kidney to her brother in 2004 — was recognized by the organization on Twitter last year in an effort to encourage more organ donors to register.
