LISTING AGENTS Elden, Daniel and Nancy Freeman, Freeman Real Estate Ltd.

The Action: This largely original semi-detached residence just north of Vermont Square in Seaton Village had nearly 80 visitors between two weekend open houses.

What They Got: At the end of a row of three over-century-old houses, this two-storey structure contains three bedrooms, including one with a rear deck and some kitchen facilities, and a full bathroom on all three levels, including the unfinished basement.

Designated areas for entertaining consist of living and dining rooms, an eat-in kitchen and a family room with a walkout to a deck, yard and a garage off a laneway behind behind the 17-by-120-foot lot.

The Agent's Take: "It was in a good location and it wasn't a lot of money," says agent Elden Freeman. "There are not many [older homes] like that any more, so when one comes up that's not over $700,000 or $800,000, it gets a lot of activity."

Most buyers could recognize the property's potential. "It had nice room sizes and was kind of cute and charming upstairs," Mr. Freeman said. "It had parking in a garage, which was nice. A lot of houses don't have that."
