Teang Tang has owned and operated Mingle Event Management since 2008.

The company works with clients to identify 'green' goals, and then prepares a sustainability audit at the end of the process to evaluate each event's environmental impact.

She's also a full-time student at Athabasca University.

She was named the Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE) 2010 student entrepreneur Alberta champion and the western regional champion.

ACE points out that she has been "doubling revenue on a yearly basis, growing her client base to over 800 and creating a full time-position for herself as well as hiring up to 70 people in project based/contract positions."

Teang Tang joined us to talk about balancing her work life with her school life. View an archive in the box below.
