The Vancouver Canucks gently ventured into the free-agent market again, this time securing the services of Jaroslav Obsut, a defenceman trained in the Czech Republic. Obsut, 25, played in the American Hockey League last season for Hershey, where he was a farmhand of the Colorado Avalanche.
