Kyle Quinlan threw two touchdowns on 16-of-20 passing and added another score on the ground Saturday as the No. 1-ranked McMaster Marauders hammered the Waterloo Warriors 68-21 in Canadian university football play.
Running back Jimmy Hill added a touchdown on 15 carriers for 125 yards as the defending Vanier Cup champions improved to 2-0.
Kasean Davis-Reynolds rushed six times for 93 yards and touchdown, Wayne Moore chipped in with 11 carries for 67 yards and a score, while Sebastian Gladman-Saltarelli rounded out McMaster's ground assault with nine carriers for 48 yards and a TD.
Dahlin Brooks, Brad Fochesato and Tyler Loveday caught touchdown passes for the Marauders, while backup quarterback Marshall Ferguson was 8-of-11 passing for 129 yards and a TD.
Elsewhere in the CIS it was: No. 5 Western 62, Toronto 7; No. 10 Manitoba 31, No. 8 Saskatchewan 28; No. 9 Acadia 21, Saint Mary's 16; and York 47, Ottawa 36;
In other action, No. 2 Laval took on Bishop's, Guelph visited No. 7 Windsor and Laurier hosted No. 6 Queen's.
No. 1 Marauders 68, Warriors 21
At Waterloo, Ont., the Marauders and Warriors were tied 7-7 after the first quarter before McMaster exploded for 37 points in the second to lead 44-7 at halftime.
After Waterloo conceded a safety to hand McMaster a 9-7 lead, Quinlan ran in from a yard out to make it 16-7.
Marauders linebacker Nicholas Shorthill followed that up by returning a Jamie Cook pass 30 yards for another TD. Quinlan then hooked up with Loveday and Brooks less than five minutes apart to make it 37-7. Davis added a 45-yard touchdown run with 12 seconds left in the half.
Cook finished the day 14-of-22 for 130 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions for Waterloo (0-2).
Nick Anapolsky and Paul Cecile caught TDs for the Warriors, while Ryan Di Risio added the other on the ground.

At Toronto, Donnie Marshall threw for 202 yards and two touchdown as Western (2-0) pummelled the Varsity Blues (1-1).
Western running back Garret Sanvido added 103 yards and two TDs on 14 carries.

At Toronto, Kyle Exume rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns as York (1-1) defeated Ottawa (0-2). Lions quarterback Myles Gibbons was 23-of-39 passing for 341 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. He also added two TDs on the ground.
