Russell Knox

Ken Duke shot a second round 8-under 63 while Russel Knox carded a 65 to share the lead at 13-under par at the Cox Classic in Nebraska.

Duke's bogey-free round included four consecutive birdies starting at No. 11. Knox, a winner last month in Ohio, played his final six holes in just 1-under par, but had done enough damage early in the round to grab the clubhouse lead.

Seven golfers including current money leader Matthew Goggin and first round leader Tommy Biershenk are one stroke back at 12-under par. Four other golfers are two shots off the pace.

Twenty-five golfers are within four strokes of the lead.

Three Canadians were among the 68 players who made the cut, which came at 6-under 136 and matched the tournament record set last year. Vancouver's Richard T. Lee (65) and James Love (67) of Calgary are tied at 7-under par while Bryan DeCorso (64) is seven shots behind the leaders.

Jon Mills (69) of Belleville, Ont., missed the cut for the fifth straight event while Matthew Richardson (71) of Woodbridge, Ont. failed to make the cut for the fourth time in the last five events.
