Trevor Linden doesn't want his longevity to interfere with the Vancouver Canucks trying to make the playoffs. With that in mind, Linden asked the team to delay ceremonies honouring his 1,000th NHL game tonight against the Los Angeles Kings. Linden has played 55 games for Vancouver this season after being acquired from the Washington Capitals in November. He began his pro career at Vancouver in 1988.
