TORONTO, May 7 - Compugen, a Canadian systems integrator and technology services firm, has successfully completed the acquisition of shares of Compugen formerly owned by Norigen Communications Inc. This share purchase consolidates ownership of 100 per cent of Compugen under its founder and president, Harry Zarek. The deal is effective immediately. Terms were not disclosed.

The Norigen ownership interest in Compugen dates from August 2000 when

Norigen purchased an ownership stake in Compugen as part of an effort to capitalize on the convergence of voice and data technologies. However, the subsequent upheavals in the global telecommunications market prevented the plan from full realization and Norigen filed for receivership last year, the company said.
