Investigators say Oscar Benjumea of Ontario was arrested at a home and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say Benjumea, who is 25, faces multiple charges, which are to be sworn once his condition is stabilized in hospital.

Investigators have since notified the families of the passengers killed in the collision and believe excessive speed was a factor in the crash.
