John Travolta plays yet another criminal mastermind in this outlandish thriller which begins with a very impressive action sequence and gets more sleazy and silly as it progresses. Directed by Domenic Sena ( Gone In 60 Seconds, Kalifornia), the movie stars Hugh Jackman as a hacker who is recruited to join Travolta and his sidekick, Halle Berry, as they plan to rip off the government for billions. This goth horror comedy from Vancouver's John Fawcett, is based on a smart script from Karen Walton, which mixes the body terrors of David Cronenberg with a Buffy The Vampire Slayer currency in this tale of two sisters. Ginger (Katharine Isabelle), gets a werewolf bite, co-incident with the arrival of her first period. This inspires her younger sister and would-be saviour Brigitte (Emily Perkins) to utter the memorable line: "Something's wrong, like, more than you just being female."
