Assent Appoints Aaron Korsen as Senior Vice President of North American Sales to Lead Growth in Supply Chain Sustainability and Product Compliance Solutions

Business Wire - Wed Feb 15, 2023

Assent Inc. (Assent), a leader in supply chain sustainability management, has appointed Aaron Korsen as Senior Vice President of Sales, North America. The hire comes at a time of rapid growth for Assent as the company delivered another year of double-digit sales growth in 2022 and recently launched its complete end-to-end ESG solution to help manufacturers manage upcoming and expanded supply chain reporting requirements.

Based in Orange County, CA, Korsen brings over 20 years of manufacturing ERP and supply chain experience to Assent. Most recently, he spent three years at Mitek Solutions (NASDAQ: MITK) as the Senior Vice President of Sales. While Korsen led sales at Mitek, the company surpassed a record $100 million in annual revenue. Prior, he spent three years at Oracle NetSuite, a leading integrated cloud business software company.

“Aaron’s proven success as a cloud computing and software sales leader is a great asset to Assent as we continue to rapidly scale our business at this critical time for complex manufacturers,” said Dave Curley, Chief Revenue Officer at Assent. “The standard for sustainability is rising and many companies are still in the dark about the risk that lies within their supply chain. We look forward to Aaron’s leadership to help companies create their game plan across product compliance and ESG and ultimately create a competitive market advantage for them.”

As supply chain sustainability gains investor and consumer pressure, Assent addresses the gap to reduce risk and increase supply chain resilience with complex manufacturers. According to Assent’s State of ESG in Manufacturing study published last month, only 25% of manufacturers have high confidence in the capabilities of their suppliers to support their ESG and sustainability goals. Korsen will work with sales teams to help North American manufacturers recognize the urgent need for supply chain transparency and leverage Assent’s integrated software and service solutions to build credible product compliance and ESG programs that meet growing regulatory, investor and customer pressures.

“Assent is uniquely positioned to capitalize on a tremendous market opportunity. The company’s supply chain sustainability solution is what will enable manufacturers to proactively drive action on compliance and ESG,” said Aaron Korsen, Senior Vice President of Sales, North America, at Assent. “I look forward to leading a team of talented experts who are the trusted partners helping companies create impactful changes to transform their supply chain, access markets and grow their business with confidence.”
