My eyes are very deep-set. How do I apply liner so I don't get that little imprint in the crease?

Easiest solution to your dilemma: Try using a liquid eyeliner, which is fast-drying and smudge-proof, instead of a pencil. Small mistakes can easily be cleaned up with a wet cotton swab. Alternatively, skip both pencil and liquid liner and use an eyeshadow to line the eyes. Given your eye shape, use an angle brush and a medium-dark shadow to line from the centre of the upper-lash line and out toward the outer third of the eye. Adding dark colours to the inner corner of the eye can make your eyes look further set back.
