I received long black leather gloves for Christmas. Any practical suggestions for how to wear them?

My suggestion would be to avoid putting them on your head or feet.

Do you perhaps mean how should you behave while wearing them? Or with what clothes? I love lengthy gloves (particularly black ones) and they can be worn with anything, even casual clothes, for warmth or for flair.

Women may even wear gloves indoors. If you wear them unselfconsciously - that is, without such affectations as a cigarette and a hat with a veil - no one will think they are odd, just sexy. Obviously, bare arms show such accessories off to best effect, but you can also push the gloves down, bunch them around the wrists and wear with a sweater. Really, you can do anything you want: You just have to own it.
