Jamie Oliver

@ColourFill: I have some quail eggs, which taste great, but I don't know what to do with them.

Jamie Oliver: Quails' eggs are wicked. I had a test recently that said I didn't get on with chicken eggs so I tend to choose quail eggs when I can. In fact, I've got my own quails now so I can collect the eggs. They can be a bit of a fiddle – when boiled, you have to crack them and pinch them and open them, but when fried, they're quick, delicious and pretty. If you want to eat them like a regular fried egg, just crack three or four into a cup, tip into the pan and they're ready in less than a minute. You can also make them into omelettes or scramble them, and they're amazing boiled and peeled, with just a bit of chili or celery salt. So, you can cook and eat them as you would a normal egg, but because they're smaller and more delicate, just try to be a bit more careful with how you use them.
