wine review

This is thick and saucy, with jammy-sweet berry fruit and dark chocolate. Yet there’s also a lifted aromatic quality of black pepper, licorice and violet, plus cedar and vanilla from 14 months of rest in French oak. Rhône flavours under Okanagan sunshine. Pair it now with charred meats or beef short ribs, though it could improve with five or so years in the cellar. Available direct, levieuxpin.ca.
