Santa Rosa Reserva Pinot Grigio Chardonnay 2011, Argentina Add to ...

  • Rating 86
  • Year 2011
  • Region Mendoza
  • Varietal White blend
  • Food Pairing Light seafood or roast chicken
  • Price $15.95/1.5 litres

Note that this is a double-sized 1.5-litre format, equivalent to less than $8 for a standard bottle, making it a bargain. A true sum of its parts, it tastes either like a fat pinot grigio or a lean chardonnay – take your pick. Slightly silky, with lemon in the foreground and a whiff of smokiness in the back, it resolves with an attractively bitter finish. Pair it with light seafood or simple roast chicken.
