IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

For quite some time you have been torn between two very different ambitions in life and your birthday stars indicate you need to find a compromise course. It does not have to be one or the other, it can be both. Get creative about it.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

You must not assume that because you recently came through a difficult phase unscathed you will be able to do the same thing as easily in the future. The planets warn that too much optimism could be a bad thing over the next few days.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

Like it or not it’s time to get tough with someone who has been abusing your generous nature. It’s okay to feel sorry for this person but it’s not okay to allow them to take, take and take again without giving anything back in return.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

Take good care of your health over the next few days because the influence of Jupiter, planet of excess, warns you cannot go on burning the candle at both ends without serious consequences. Everyone has their limits – yes, even a Gemini!

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

There are things going on behind the scenes, both in your personal life and at work, that will answer so many of the questions you have been asking of late. Be patient a little longer and soon you will understand what has been going on, and why.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

You may think you are a law unto yourself but you are about to receive a rather big reminder that it isn’t true. Even a Leo must toe the line in certain situations, so be smart and do what the powers that be expect of you, for now.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

You may think that you can make a better job of something than other people, and maybe you can, but the simple fact is you have not been asked, nor will you be. Focus on what is directly in front of you today and ignore everything else.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

You don’t seem to have a care in the world at the moment and that’s great, but don’t relax to such an extent that events you should be able to control start getting away from you over the next few days. Have fun but stay sharp too.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

It’s not like you to lose touch with reality but the planets warn you seem to believe that nothing can possibly go wrong with your life at the moment, and that’s asking for trouble! Keep your feet on the ground and keep your eyes and ears open.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

You will have to deal with some pretty big challenges over the next few weeks but you are up to the task and will come through with flying colours. Just remember you don’t have to do it all on your own. Get help if you need it.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

According to the planets a rival has set some kind of trap for you but you will see it with ease and take whatever evasive action you think is necessary. Don’t bother trying to hit back at them. Why would you want to stoop to their low level?

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

It seems like every time you want to do something the people you want to do it with say they want to do something else. Maybe you should take the hint and accept they have plans of their own. Go off and do your own thing instead.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

Life has been moving at such a hectic pace of late that you probably feel drained. In which case you need to slow things down and give your mind and body the break they so obviously crave. Let the world know you’re taking time off.
