An Ontario man who bilked dozens of prospective entrepreneurs of $1.2-million won't have to repay the money.

The Manitoba Court of Appeal overturned the restitution order, arguing that it is unrealistic.

Jeffrey Wuckert, 52, is serving a six-year prison term. During his trial last year, court heard how he sold non-existent accounting franchises across the country between 1989 and 1995. CP
