A Boiestown, N.B., couple and their three daughters travelled to Atlantic Lottery headquarters yesterday to pick up a $30-million cheque courtesy of Super 7 lottery.

Trevor and Patty Hunter said the first item on their shopping list is a new insulin pump for 15-year-old daughter Jade, who has diabetes.

Mr. Hunter has already quit his job at the pulp mill and hopes to start his own business with some of his winnings. Ms. Hunter also quit her job with the Department of Family and Community Services in Fredericton. Their win last Friday was the biggest lottery winning ever in Atlantic Canada. CP
