A witness was taken to hospital after shots were fired in a busy Langley shopping mall during a brazen armed robbery yesterday evening.
Shots rang out at Golden Tree Jewellers in the Willowbrook Shopping Centre at 6:37 p.m., RCMP Constable Holly Marks said.
Initial witness reports said that four shots were fired, but RCMP last night only found evidence of one.
No one was injured, but one witness was shaken up and taken to a local hospital, she said. There was no immediate word on arrests.
